Our Team
Matt Young-President
I grew up working in my family's logging company, where hard work was the normal approach. I studied Construction Engineering Management at Oregon State University (class of 2009) and have spent my career on both sides of civil work: building it, inspecting it, and estimating it.
- 2020–present: Owner, Young's Construction Services LLC: GPS machine control models and civil takeoffs in Trimble Business Center
- 2020-2022: Field Inspection Supervisor, Lane County: Managed the construction, testing and inspection of road and bridge construction projects.
- 2015–2020: Project Manager/Estimator, Wildish Construction Company: small to medium civil projects in Oregon
- 2013–2015: Construction Manager, HDR Inc.: $300M multiphase rail project in Alaska
- 2012–2013: Project Quality Control Manager, HDR Inc.: $126M bridge project in Alaska
- 2011–2012: Project Inspector, HDR Inc.: same $126M bridge project
- 2009–2010: Project Engineer, Granite Construction: $12M+ projects
